I'm not all that hip on making resolutions....they always seem so restrictive and it just goes against my nature.
However, I do have a few goals for hooking that I would like to share for 2009 and I'd love to hear yours as well.
1. Hook more rugs for myself and friends that are "original" rugs. I'm hoping this is the year that I can find my "voice" or "style" or "niche" in hooking.
2. Put together a dye book
3. Get my hooking room organized.....I wish I had a vision for this. I want my room to be organized, yet inspiring. Maybe painted a soft color that bold colors will pop against?
Of course I have more personal goals as well, but I'll save those for another day.

simple.
To be kinder to myself and others.
To come outside more and take some steps out of my comfort zone, which includes anything beyond my front door that doesn't include getting the essentials in life.
To make at least one new friend that I can spend some time with, other than through the Internet.
To visit my parents at least once more this year.
To make it to Louisville for the Biennial!

Hey Tammy. Hmmmmm...hooking goals. I really need to finish up 2sheep...just have the eyes left. duh. Have at least 2 others that would be fun to work on that I've had for years! PLUS my big a** star rug is callin' my name! So...goals. I guess to finish what I start. Happy New Year!
