A day in the dye pans



Yesterday I spent most of my morning dyeing wool.....mainly spot dyes and some of the new wandering wools.


Here are a few pics of what I came up with.

  2. Tammy, what beautiful colors. But why do you call it a "wandering" wool?

    Can I drive down for a bite or two of that potato salad? Sounds delicious.

    Oh, and after watching that video yesterday of the guy kayaking, I'm always amazed at people who will drive down a flooded street. Stoopid! Now they get to pay for a tow or a push....and maybe a new electrical system/computer for their car.

  3. I'll have to post the recipe for the Mexican potato salad. It's my husband's favorite and since he LOVES it, I made it for him for father's day today.

    As for the wandering wools...hmmm....I think it's called that because you layer color over color over the wool and then just poke the wool around and the colors just "wander" where they may....not sure if that's why, but it sounds good!
