For the cat lovers out there!

And I know there are a lot of you!

This is a rug hooked by Lily Mayfield.

She is the step-daughter of Dulcy from Dulcy's Doorstep.

I love the colors she used and how she made this into a piece you could keep out all the time, because to be honest, when I saw the pattern, I thought of Halloween.

Isn't it fun how people see patterns that are black and white in different colors in their mind?! I think that is one of the things I like the best about hooking!

The pattern is from Angela at Breezy Ridge Rugs....she mainly sells on eBay or you could contact her directly if you are interested in this pattern.

And to keep with our cat theme today, I'm sharing this little lady with you who needs a home. Her coloring and attitude seem to fit with the cat on the rug!

Her name is Ginger....pretty name!

To find out more about her click on her picture.

Go forth and be creative,

Tammy

  1. Tammy,
I am not sure what happened but all my computer shows of Lily's rug is a white square with black spots for eyes and a smile.
I know Angela's patterns and that is not one of hers. What happened? Is it just my computer or has your site been hacked into?

  4. I also thought of Halloween but I love Halloween and it is always on my mind. This is such a great rug. The stripes look like the rescue cat! It is such fun to see a rug hooked by different people. This unexpected color combo is such a great treat!

  5. Tammy,

Thanks so much for posting these lovely animals that need homes. I would love to take sweet Ginger, but three is the current limit. What a perfect use for a blog!
