Why am I so tired?

Oh, why am i so tired? I think I’m getting enough sleep….maybe it’s just that I still have a little bit of the cold lingering on, even though I don’t want to admit it to myself.

I have so many things in my mind that I want to do, but I just can’t seem to get motivated.

Okay, enough with the “poor pitiful me” stuff. Maybe if I just get out of my jammies and into some real clothes….that should help!

I did get a “wool fix” and ordered some wool on-line this morning…..I hate buying wool on-line from a business that I’ve not ordered from before. Wool is just one of those things that you want to touch before you buy…..oh well, here’s to keeping my fingers crossed that it’s not too flimsy and not too heavy…..I promise to use it, no matter what…..it is all beautiful and it shall all have a place. I’m excited because some of it is the nubby boucle wool and some has metallic in it!

Here are a few pics of the swatches:

In this wool I can see landscapes and gardens!

Sunflower middles or dog fur?

Dark leaves, night skies

I think this would make nice animals or would be great over-dyed with greens or reds or oranges….it’s just yummy!

I see this in night skies, Halloween cats…

This one was just too fun to resist!

I’ll let you know when they come and are washed up….were they worth it?!

  2. What interesting textures! I'd love to hear how they wash up and hook! Would you like to let us know the company? Hope you find some energy Tammy. I think it may be the time of year.........cold one minute, almost hot the next. I am finding it hard to get moving on my hooking too! I think I need some of that tonic you talked about with the tobasco!! Cathy G

  3. The wools on my blog today are from www.fashionfabricsclub.com
I've never ordered from them, so I'm not promoting them YET, as a good wool source. I will definitely let you know when I receive the wools.
I find the link on Rug Hooking Daily.

  4. Yummy wools! I've been tired for over a week now too - I'm pretty sure it's all related to daylight savings time - yuck!

  5. I have that site bookmarked and have been tempted numerous times, just haven't pushed the button all the way, lol. Do let us know how your's fair.

I purchased some "by the pound" wool from a local shop and washed it up yesterday. My goodness, what a mess I made, lol.

I like to cut a corner from each piece before I wash. It gives me a good idea of the 'before' & 'after'.

I hope your energy level returns. Today in Ohio it would be a good day to crawl back under the covers and sleep the day away!
