Rug-A-Palooza Continues

Happy Saturday!!! And I mean that from the bottom of my heart….I don’t know the last time I was so happy to greet a weekend.

Work has been crazy busy and promises to be the same next week, so I’m grabbing the weekend by the horns and riding it as hard as I can!

Plans for heading out to the farmers market to see if there is anything interesting to buy and cook, then getting my hair cut….not really short, not yet…just a trim and then the rest of the day I hope to be out in the 64 degree sunshine….YAY!

Here are more beautiful rugs from the rug show in Lenexa, KS.  If you have ANY information on these rugs please leave me a comment or e-mail me so I can give proper credit to the wonderful designers and hookers!

Vendor: Judy Cripps of Rustic Rugs

Judy has big wonderful, primitive patterns at a reasonable price…..her booth is ALWAYS abuzz with activity….so much so that I had a hard time getting pictures…..she always has rugs on the floor of her booth, which just goes to show….rugs are made to be walked on….it gives them such a nice patina!

  4. OH MaGOSH! I love that one with the gameboard in the center with the turtle etc! Love it! Tammy, you'll have to clue me in if there's any good rug classes/retreats where a beginner is welcome. The inspiration looks to be amazing and I really wanna be a hooker! I'm in South Dakota, so never anything like this here. Your rug outings always look like a blast!!

  6. Lauren,
The sunshine was beautiful today! Even thought I spent it shoveling leaves away from our curb. Our neighbor blew theirs out to the street instead of raking them this fall......then they blew in front of our house, then we've had rain, snow, and cold...what a mess...they have composted very well :)
