I was hoping to finish hooking Cleopatra's rug during Memorial Day weekend and I'm happy to say that she is finished.....finished as in hooked. I'm pleased with how she turned out....maybe a little tweaking here and there, but always happy to complete a project.
ohhhhhh, Tammy. That is beautiful! You should be very proud...and I am sure that Cleo is delighted!!! You ROCK!
ReplyDeleteWOW!!!! You have really captured Cleopatra's essence. Love the colors. Congrats on a job well done. Is Lonnie next?
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! Is this one of your designs?
ReplyDeleteThe rug is from a pattern by Nola Heidbreder called "Fall Frolic"..I just adapted it to look like Cleopatra.
ReplyDeleteI would still like to do an original of Cleopatra and then of course Lonnie will also have his own rug one day.
My next adventure will be some garden rugs that my husband is drawing for me. Now that this is finished, maybe he'll "get on the stick" :)
Tammy, Just amazing!!! You did a fabulous job with it.
ReplyDeleteI know this is like the 3rd time I've posted this, but I do love this rug. Thank you for posting the info on it. Your colors are so fab. Enjoy your beautiful new rug!
ReplyDeleteThis rug just makes me smile, and it's so great to see it completed. Congratulations! I'm sure Cleo is honored.
