This year for Thanksgiving, everyone got to have their
own turkey platter to eat from.
It was fun to see what everyone picked.
Did they pick by design?
Or by how big they thought their appetite was?
I never could get cousin Marcus to pick a plate…
he just stopped by to say hi, meet Buzzbee
and have a little libation.
Such a fun day spent with friends and family.
Of course we had way too much food!
However, we all had such a great time together.
The dogs loved all of the attention
they got all day.
Can dogs go into a turkey coma like people do?
Lonnie says YES!
They were certainly sad to see everyone go.
Hope you had a full plate for your Thanksgiving!
Yesterday and today!!! Love your turkey platter idea!!!! Glad you had a happy day! Us, too!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I agree with cousin Marcus ~ liquids only!! And is the pretty lady in blue, your mom? Sure looks like you!!
ReplyDeletehey Tammy! Great idea...the turkey platters! Glad you all had a great day!
ReplyDeleteThe platter idea was sure different and everyone seemed to play along cheerfully.
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that you all had a wonderful family time together and ate lots of good food.
By the way, the lady in blue does look like you or you look like her.
Have a nice weekend.

I love turkey platters--have often thought I might collect them, but where would I put them? You have some gorgeous platters and what a fun idea to use them all!
ReplyDeleteMy daughter was "gifted" by a full blood lemon basset hound puppy a couple of weeks ago, left at the gate of their farm along with his registration puppies. This is the third dog left with registration papers--we are beginning to think there is something a bit strange going on here! Altogether there have been 5 dogs dumped--3 with papers--too much to be a coincidence don't you think?

love the turkey plate idea. I just might steal that. Happy Thanksgiving!
