A little more hooking

I’ve had a chance to hook a couple of times this week and I’ve dove right into working on the 2nd garden rug panel….I’ve made quite a bit of progress, but at this point I have no idea what I’m doing with the background.
I’m wanting to use a few “different” techniques in this rug to make it more textural.  I watched this video that Sheri at Shabby Sheep had a link to on her blog and decided to pixelate one of the flowers.


I’ve pixelated the center and also hooked it a little higher as well….I think I like it!

    It's fun to try new things. I want to try the pixelating too, but need the right project. Like it as the center of your flower.

    The flower center looks neat! I have to say though... that my favorite, so far, is the knots you used for the other flower! That's TOTALLY kewl! Looking forward to seeing more! :-)

    I inclination not acquiesce in on it. I over polite post. Specially the appellation attracted me to be familiar with the intact story.
