….I’ve been a bit boring lately and not so great at taking pictures of the
“going ons” around here.
I’ve tried a few recipes from the web that were successful and one
ehhh, not so great…..
“Ginger and Cilantro Baked Tilapia”
….it was okay, but won’t make it again.
“Overnight Apple-Cinnamon Oatmeal”
YUMMY! Will definitely be making again and again!
“Spice Roasted Pineapple Ice Cream”
Labor intensive, but delish! Kenny says it reminds him of
carrot cake.
This just tastes fresh! You could leave out the chicken and have it
as a side dish if you wanted….this is what I’ve taken for my lunch
all week.
Today it’s a little colder…..52 degrees, which feels really cold after a few
days in the 80’s. However, not too cold to take a quick stroll through
the garden and see what’s blooming…..
The tree peonies are stealing the show at the moment.
They are just so girlie!
Nothing looks better than a few droplets of water
on the petals!
Other things blooming are….
Dogwood
Spanish bluebells
Columbine
Tulips
These pretty purple flowers….I think they are called
French hollyhocks….anyway, they are pretty!
Have a great day….we’re almost to the weekend!
Every thing looks so lush and lovely. we are still just getting little tops coming up through.

You are so lucky to have beautiful flowers. here on the coast of Maine we are seeing daffodils and not much else. A bit of forsythia here and there. Our spring takes forever to get here. Good luck with that desk!
ReplyDeleteHappy Easter to you!
