What a difference a couple of days make.
I woke up this morning to encourage the dogs to go outside and saw
that the tiger’s eye sumac is quite a bit more rust covered
than it was on Saturday morning.

Are you seeing how the seasons are gradually changing
around you in your part of the country?
I think that is one of the things that I love most about living
in the Midwest…..the changing of the seasons. I have several friends
who have left Missouri to live in Florida and while I LOVE to VISIT,
I’m afraid I’d miss the seasonal changes if I lived there.
……
The plan for today was to have the pool closed and have Dulcy
come over to dye wool…..however, now they are calling for rain, and
with the way my dogs FREAK over rain and thunder, we’ve called that off…..
shoot, that was going to be a whole blog post!
Oh well, don’t worry, I’ve had another project that I worked on this weekend….
just have to get some pictures taken….
Hope to share that with you later today or tomorrow.
I’ll give you a hint…… it involves hedge apple green!
Hope it rains -- I'm worried about my tomatoes. We went to a beautiful yarn shop yesterday. Thought they might have wool but didn't. The yarn was so gorgeous that I wanted to buy it even though I don't knit. Thanks for checking in with me.
ReplyDeleteSorry about your change of plans. I can't wait to see what you will create with your green hedge apples. JB
