We've had ice storms 2 years in a row now......on the first one we were without power for 12 days....I just don't think I can take it!!!

As I type it's 51 degrees....
with a high of 62 expected by 3pm....
then it's going to plummet to 22 this evening

For your sake, Tammy, and for all the people in Southern Missouri, I hope the weather guy is wrong. Our temp at 8 a.m. this morning was 54 and it's been dropping all day long. It's now almost 9:45 p.m. and it's all of ELEVEN degrees out with a stiff NW wind. We've had a dusting of snow but no ice. But geez, it's COLD outside.

Tammy, I hope the ice misses you and you get the fluffy white stuff! I don't mind the snow, but the COLD! Oh my! I can't stand that...and it hasn't risen above zero today....and tomorrow....we're looking at highs in the negatives here in SD. BRRRRRR!!!
ReplyDeleteIt is -5 here in Minnesota. Roads were skating rinks last night with many cars in the ditches. Then snow came in on top of it. Brrr I hope my electricity doesn't go out as I have an electric furnace.
ReplyDeleteSay it ain't so!!! Praying you guys don't get hit like you did before!!!! Colorado is getting hit hard with a major cold snap right now too! We will be in the low teens for 2 weeks or so, and dropping below zero at night. Holy cow - it's this kind of cold that i don't like so much!! Stay warm girl!!! xoxoxo bren
